Ben Ainslie 10/1 To Sail Into Olympic Record Books

The GB and NI sailing team have announced 11 of their team for London 2012 and William Hill are offering 8/15 that they win more than one medal.

Ben Ainslie is one of the names included and he is offered at 8/11 to win his fourth gold medal. Should he do so, he would have to be considered a frontrunner for Sports Personality 2012 and he is 25/1 to win the award.

Ainslie is currently the proud owner of 3 Olympic gold medals and Hills are offering 5/2 that he manages to equal Sir Steve Redgrave’s record of five and 10/1 that he manages to beat it and win six.
 
"The 11 named in the sailing squad are the first names guaranteed to be competing at London 2012 and the odds suggest that as a team, they will be more than capable of contributing to Team GB & NI’s gold medal haul," said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
