David Haye Ready For Harrison Bout

David Haye claims that he is ready to take the fight to Audley Harrison when he defends his WBA belt against the Olympian.

The bout will be the second title defence for Haye after he saw off John Ruiz in April, he lifted the title back in November 2009 when he beat Russian Nikolay Valuev.

But on 13th November the pair will go head to head as Harrison is looking to win his major world title having never really delivered on the promise he sowed at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.

But Haye, who has only lost once from twenty five fights, is ready to see off the challenge and retain his title.

Speaking to Metro Haye said: I don’t believe Audley deserves a world-title fight but fortunately for me there are enough people in Britain who want to see him get annihilated,’ admitted Haye, 29, who has just one defeat from 25 outings.

Haye added: ‘The public want to finally close the curtain on the joke that is the Audley Harrison show. I want to see him stretched out for a final time.

‘The fight will be a public execution. Watching him get carried out on a stretcher for the final time is exactly what I want to see. I’m going to violate him so badly he’ll have nowhere else to go but back to Los Angeles. I’m going to embarrass him.

‘The public want to see one final high-profile destruction of Audley Harrison and I can assure them this will be the last time they ever see him in a boxing ring.’

The pair will meet at the MEN Arena in Manchester on 13 November.
