GB Swimmers Gearing Up For Commonwealths

With the much talked about Commonwealth Games starting in Delhi next week, English, Welsh and Scottish swimmers have been preparing for victory at their training camp in Doha.
This is the major international event of the year for the UK’s elite swimmers and following the phenomenal 18 medals secured at the European Swimming Championships in Budapest, Commonwealth hopes are high.
Despite the controversy surrounding the Games in recent weeks the home nations are fielding strong teams in a competition that will allow them to build furthur on their World Champion ship success.
Rebecca Adlington, Fran Halsall, Lizzie Simmonds and Hannah Miley all brought home gold medals from Budapest and are looking to add more in Delhi.
