Keri-Anne Payne Gets Inspired Ahead Of Swim Series

Olympic open water swimming silver medallist and world champion Keri-anne Payne has launched the British Gas Great Swim Series, with a special training session at the Serpentine in London for some truly inspirational competitors.
Three soldiers from 9 Parachute Squadron RE based at Woodbridge in Suffolk, who will participate in the British Gas Great London Swim on 2nd July in aid of BLESMA (British Limbless Ex Service Mans Association), in honour of their good friend who was badly injured after standing on an IED while on tour with them in Afghanistan.
Plus, two-time cancer survivor Pamela Batchelor, 44, from Southam, Warwickshire, who will also swim at the London event.
Keri-anne Payne will compete in the British Gas Great Salford Swim on Sunday 15th May and the British Gas Great London Swim.
She is still celebrating after recently winning her first 10km race of the season at the LEN Open Water Cup in Israel, where she secured qualification for the World Championships in Shanghai in July.
