We recently spoke to TNA Knockout Mickie James about the company's Maximum Impact Tour in January, her time in WWE and the wrestling industry as a whole.

On the Maximum Impact Tour: "It's more in-your-face and you get a little more personal, one-on-one time with some of the wrestlers."

On her departure from WWE: "It would be one thing if I was doing a poor job, and I didn't capture the fans every time I went out there"

On returning to TNA: "By the time I'd come back, it had grown so much, and it was some of the same people from when I was there that helped build it."

On how it can improve: "What brought you to where you are, will continue to separate you. The thing is to be different."

On the art of wrestling: "It's an escapism, you're getting lost in the story."
