Mo Farah could well has his work cut our for him at the world championships in Daegu as Kenenisa Bekele will defend his 10,000m title.

The Ethiopian world and Olympic champion has not competed since early last year but will take to the track in a couple of weeks to defend his crown.

Bekele is looking to win a fifth outdoor world title and has never lost a race over this distance on the track.

Jos Hermens, his manager, told Reuters: "He is going to Daegu and (will) run. He is training well.

"He is quite fit but it is difficult to say what will happen, even for me, because he has not raced."

Farah has been the dominating force over long distance so far this season setting a new British and European record in Eugene, Oregon earlier this season.

Farah is yet to decide whether he will double up to run the 10,000m and 5,000m.
