Greenway injury blow for Vikings Chad Greenway, Minnesota's top draft selection linebacker, will miss the full NFL season due to injury.
Greenway has suffered a left knee injury Monday in a pre-season loss at Oakland.
Vikings coach Brad Childress was reported by bbc sport as saying that it was unfortunate because Chad had improved during training camp, but added they are confident he will be healthy for the 2007 season."
Greenway had been expected to compete against Dontarrious Thomas for the starting linebacker spot.
The Vikings top draft pick, signed a five-year $13m deal.
