Paralympic Athletes are Getting Ready For Games

For Paralympic athletes this summer will most likely prove to be the most important of their careers.

There are now just a handful of weeks to go until the 2012 Paralympic Games light up London and British athletes will be looking to be in the hunt for a whole host of medals.

Four years ago in Beijing Great Britain finished second in the medal table with 102 medals, forty two of which were gold.

With that in mind, members of the team, including double Paralympic gold medallist David Weir, two-time Paralaympic medallist Shelly Woods, Paralympic gold medallist Dan Greaves, and current World Champion and World Record Holder Nathan Stephens, have spent a portion of the winter at the Aviva-funded warm weather camp in Monte Gordo, Portugal.
