Wrestling Legend Kurt Angle came to Wembley Arena on Monday to meet fans and showcase what to expect on the TNA Wrestling Maximum Impact tour in January 2009.
Kurt is a sporting hero and the only Olympic Gold Medal winner in professional wrestling history. At age 38, Angle is in his prime, a former 6 time WWE World Heavy Champion who has won the WCW, Intercontinental, European, Hardcore Championships and King of the Ring titles. He was also the only wrestler in history to win every individual title in his first year as a professional.
Kurt was the star and talent of a special Media Day at London Wembley Arena which enabled entranced fans from all over the UK to meet the legend.
"The U.K. wrestling fans have embraced TNA Wrestling," said Dixie Carter, TNA president. "The reception we have received this week as been nothing short of incredible and we look forward to returning in January."
Kurt Angle is on a mission to continue to prove that he is the greatest wrestler in the world and that TNA Wrestling is the greatest wrestling organization in existence.
He said: "TNA has a lot of great young talent that are extremely athletic like AJ Styles, Soma Joe and Frank Trigg who are all seasoned athletes and excellent performers to work with."
Craig Jenkins a representative of TNA stated: "Our first experience in England was incredible. The fans overwhelmingly embraced the TNA product in ways we couldn’t imagine with 4 consecutive sell out shows. We are very much excited about returning to England in January with an incredible roster of talent and matches that promise world class excited as only TNA can deliver."

Thursday 22 - Glasgow - Braehead Arena
Saturday 24 - London - Wembley Arena
