Usain Bolt has revealed that he is back to full fitness and is looking forward to defending his world title in Korea next summer.
The world and Olympic champion has been blighted with injury sets backs in the second half of the athletics season, injuries which saw him call time on that season in August.
In August Bolt suffered his first defeat in two years to American Tyson Gay, however Bolt did look out of sorts, and he chose to sit out the rest of the season, missing the final two Diamond League meetings in Zurich and Brussels.
But the sprinting superstar has revealed that he now fit and back in training.
Speaking to the BBC Bolt said: "The good news is that I am 100% healthy and am completely over my back and Achilles tendon problems.
"I am really enjoying training at the moment. For the first time in my career I was looking forward to getting back into training before my end-of-season break was over.
"I am looking forward to defending my 100 and 200 metres titles at the 2011 IAAF World Championships in Korea.
"I know the importance of putting in the work required."
The 100m will be the must see event of the world championships in Korea with Bolt once again taking on Gay with Asafa Powell thrown into the mix.
