Usain Bolt has revealed that he is happy to run against Justin Gatlin.
The American returned from a four year doping ban earlier this month, he was banned for testing positive for testosterone back in 2006, but Bolt says that he is happy with the decision by the IAAF to allow him to return to the sport.
Speaking to BBC Sport Bolt said: "If he is there, I will run against him. He has done a bad thing but as I've said before if the IAAF can forgive, then why can't anyone else?.
"I hope he has learned his lesson and knows that he has to run clean and work hard now because he will get caught. I think the IAAF and the IOC [International Olympic Committee] are doing an extremely good job on clamping down on athletes who are trying to cheat the sport and are banning them.
"I'm fine with it because I don't make the decision or the rules. If they [IAAF] decide he has served his time and can run then I am cool with it."
Bolt has ended his season early after suffering from a back injury and he will not be running at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in October and he begins his winter preparation.
The Jamaican has had various injury problems this year and suffered his first loss over in two years 100m to Tyson Gay in Stockholm when the American powered to victory.
Gatlin has so far won his two comeback races and revealed a desire to try for a place on the 2012 U.S. Olympic team. He won gold in Athens in 2004 but was stripped of the medal when he failed a drugs test.
