Usain Bolt has revealed that he will begin his season at the Rome Diamond League in May.
The world and Olympic champion was forced to cut his 2010 season shot after picking up an Achilles tendon injury.
But the fastest man on the planet has revealed that he is now fully fit and ready to get back on the track.
Speaking to the BBC Bolt said: "A lot of the best sprinters have achieved great times in Rome and I hope to add my name to the list.
"I'm fully recovered after the injury I suffered last summer and the training has been going according to the plans of my coach.
"I'm confident I will be able to get the best shape at the right time in the summer."
2011 looks set to be a big year for Bolt as he will defend his world title in South Korea this summer, in what promises to be an exiting competition after Tyson Gay breathed down his next last year.
But he begins his season at the Rome Diamond League meeting on 26th May where he will compete in the 100m.
