The triple Olympic champion was in no mood to hang around as he clocked an impressive 19.59 seconds in awful conditions at the Grand Prix in Switzerland.

However the time was horehound of a second slower than the time clocked by Tyson Gay last month, but the American did have weather conditions on his side.

Jamaican Bolt won both the 100m and 200m at the Beijing Olympic last year, as well setting two world records, and being part of the gold medal winning relay squad.

But there was just one outing on the track from the lightening Bolt last night as his team mate Asafa Powell won the 100m.

Jamaica's dominance in the sprints continued into the women's side of the event as Shelly-Ann Fraser won the 100m.

It was a mixed night for the Brits as medal hope Chris Tomlinson finished fourth in the long jump while Andy Turner managed fifth in the 110m hurdles.
