Ross Fisher shares the lead with defending champion Tim Clark after the first round of the South African Open.
Both are five under par, but Fisher played the back nine in just 32 strokes with five birdies including the fifth and ninth, his final hole as he started on the 10th.
Clark also had a good round with four birdies and an eagle.
Clark is happy as the Fancourt Links course is one "tough" golf course, and would have been satisfied with anything under par.
Clark's early morning start was relatively wind-free, but from noon the breeze had got up and with the sun beating down, the greens became so hard and fast they were almost unplayable.
Which made Fisher's round, completed in the afternoon, that much more of an achievement.
