Michelle Wie broke par for the first time this year at the Evian Masters.
The 17-year-old prodigy from Hawaii shot a one-under 71 to total a level-par 144 and make the cut.
Wie, who had gone 24 rounds without breaking par and has been struggling with a wrist injury.
American Diana D'Alessio and Hong Jin-joo of South Korea led by three strokes after Friday's second round in Evian-les-Bains.
