European captain Darren Clarke has confirmed that Rory McIlroy and Thomas Pieters will lead his side in Saturday's Ryder Cup foursomes.
The duo were the final pair out on Friday night and they ensured Europe cut the USA's lead to 5-3.
After beating Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar, the pair will now take on Rickie Fowler and Phil Mickelson who were in fine form during Friday's foursomes.
Clarke has decided to split up Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose and they will play alongside Matthew Fitzpatrick and Chris Wood respectively. The Swede and rookie Fitzpatrick will do battle with Brandt Snedeker and Brooks Koepka while English duo Rose and Wood face off against Jimmy Walker and Zach Johnson.
The final partnership will see Spanish duo Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Sergio Garcia take on Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth and Clarke is relishing Saturday's action.
"There are going to be some more interesting matches again tomorrow," he told reporters. "I think we are in for another really exciting morning and hopefully, from a European point of view, we'll do a little better."
