Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has warned his side to be prepared for more "disappointing days" in the Premier League.
The Cherries were well beaten 4-0 last weekend by title favourites Manchester City and face another tough test in the top flight this weekend when they host Everton.
Howe is realistic that his side will often be up against it this season but he hopes his players will learn from defeats.
"We reflect and will learn a lot from the game against Manchester City. In this league, for us, there are going to be disappointing days," Howe said at a news conference.
"Until the first City goal we were okay. The first three goals came from us having the ball, so that is something to look at.
"We have to brush ourselves down and go again because there is always another game just around the corner."
Howe is expecting a tough examination against Everton, who have started the season in fine form and sit second in the table after five games.
He added: "Everton have added pace this season in the middle and wide areas. They have goalscorers as well, so we expect a tough game."
