Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho admits he is enjoying his extended run in the first team.
The Nigeria international has been given a chance to impress due to the suspension of Sergio Aguero, and he has taken advantage of his opportunity by scoring in the recent Premier League wins over Manchester United and Bournemouth.
The 19-year-old admits that he is full of confidence at the moment but is aware that he must continue to work hard to stake a claim for a regular starting berth.
"I feel great," Iheanacho said. "I need to keep improving and working hard every day to take my opportunity. I'm feeling good every time I play with my team-mates, playing to instruction to play good."
Iheanacho will have another chance to impress as Aguero serves the final match of his three-game ban during Wednesday's League Cup tie against Swansea.
The teenager has an impressive record against the Swans as he has scored in his two previous appearances against the club, including an injury-time winner at the Etihad Stadium last December.
