Goalkeeper Loris Karius looks set to make his Liverpool debut in the EFL Cup clash with Derby while Emre Can is available again.
Summer signing Karius has been on the bench for the last two matches after returning to training following a hand injury sustained towards the end of the pre-season campaign.
The German looks likely to make his first start for the Reds when they travel to the iPro Stadium on Tuesday for the third-round clash with Derby, while boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a few changes elsewhere,
Can is fit again after recovering from an ankle injury sustained in the second-round tie with Burton while Roberto Firmino could also feature having missed Friday's win at Chelsea.
With no European campaign, Klopp looks set to name a strong side for the clash, with Divock Origi indicating he could lead the line having been used mainly as a substitute this season.
Joe Gomez and Sheyi Ojo remain sidelined for the Reds.
