Everton defender Bryan Oviedo is enjoying his role in the starting line up and determind to keep it after the international break.
The 26-year-old left back is enjoying an extended run in the side due to the hamstring injury to Leighton Baines which has kept him out of the side for the past couple of games.
The Costa Rican will be in action against Russia during the international break has vowed to try and keep his place in the side when Baines is fit.
"I’ve enjoyed [the opportunity] very much,” he told evertontv. “I’m always training to play. I will continue to work hard in every training session and hopefully I can continue in the team.
“I need to show more of myself. We have very good players at Everton but I will work hard and hope to have more opportunities in the future.
“Now I need to focus on the national team and come back even stronger. I need to continue because I feel very well and very fit.”
