Chris Wyatt, left French top-flight club Bourgoin in June.The former France lock David Auradou could also be on his way to the club.

Wyatt's contract runs for one season with an option to extend his playing career for another term.

He is now planning to prepare himself for pre-season training that starts on 1 August by building up a sweat in his home patch of Newport.
