Michael Crocker had agreed a three-year contract with Hull FC .
Michael Crocker the Australian Test forward had agreed a three-year deal at the KC Stadium from the start of the forthcoming season.
The former Melbourne Storm back-rower are now considering whether to launch an appeal against the decision.
Crocker revealed earlier this month that a conviction for affray in 2005 was partly to blame for the delay in his visa being processed.
He is the second Australian to be denied a visa in January, with Todd Carney's proposed move to Huddersfield collapsing.
Crocker is continuing to train in Melbourne with his former Storm team-mates, but admitted he could have to take time out of the sport if he was not able to find a new club or secure a visa.
