Lawrence Dallaglio will retire from the sport.
The wasps captain has been cited for the first time in his 18-year club career for an alleged punch on a Leicester prop.
The incident is said to have happened during the closing stages of Wasps' loss.
If found guilty, Dallaglio, who retires from the sport at the end of the season in May, could face a suspension of between two and eight weeks.
The 35-year-old will face a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.
The former England captain will call time on his illustrious career at the end of the current season in May.
Wasps have been knocked out of the Heineken Cup and the EDF Energy Cup, but are still chasing a place in the end-of-season Premiership play-offs.
The club's final game of the regular season is against Leeds on 10 May, while the play-off semi-finals and final are on the 17 and 31 May.
