The Guinness Premiership play off semi finals kick off on Sunday afternoon as the race to Twickenham continues.
Leicester Tigers, who finished the regular season at the top of the table, will be favourites to beat Bath who finished fourth, but it’s the other semi final that is much harder to call.
Northampton Saints host Saracens and it promises to be a very close game. The Saints came 2nd after their 22 games but the Sarries were just 2 points behind them in 3rd and are the club in form.
In fact they travelled to Franklin’s Gardens and beat the Saints in their own back yard just a few weeks ago.
Both sides will be high on confidence after ending the regular reason with impressive results, Saracens triumphing 32-23 at Leicester and Northampton annihilating London Irish 31-7.
Northampton are arguably capable of playing the more attractive brand of rugby, and if the Franklin’s Gardens pitch is hard and dry, the game could swing in the Saints direction.
However, both sides have players capable of producing match winning moments of brilliance, and the fans packed into the stadium could be in for a real feast of rugby.
For one of these two sleeping giants, it will be the day when they get that nudge to awake from their slumber.
In this video Saints stars Ben Foden, Stephen Myler and Lee Dickson talk about the forthcoming game.
