Bosc pens extension

Half-back Thomas Bosc has put pen-to-paper on a one-year contract extension with Catalans Dragons.

The 33-year-old has been with the Super League side his entire career and will now get the chance to play out at least one more season.

Bosc has scored 1169 points in 210 Super League appearances and will now also join the reserve side coaching team as Jerome Guisset’s assistant.

The half-back admitted he needed time to mull over the extension but feels he is ready to go again for the 2017 campaign.

Bosc said: "I've taken my time before taking a decision but I feel good and I'm ready to start a new season.

"I love this sport, I love this club but I would make sure that my body allowed me to keep playing at this level. I'm sure of my choice now and I'm delighted to stay another season."
