Bath's Ross Batty admits George Ford deserves plenty of plaudits for masterminding his side's strong start to the campaign.
The fly-half has excelled so far this campaign as the Somerset outfit have tasted defeat just once in the form of an away loss to Leicester Tigers.
As a result they have risen to third in the standings and now set their sights on European matters for the next fortnight, with Pau and Bristol their upcoming opponents in the Challenge Cup.
Hooker Batty admits he has been impressed by the 23-year-old's form; praising the influence he has had on the team, while also backing him to maintain his form for England in November.
"George has been absolutely outstanding," Batty said. "He's definitely the one who organises the game.
"He tells you where he wants you. You need that from a ten and his kicking is second to none.
"A number ten needs to be able to understand the game and direct play. Everything runs through your ten. I think he has more than enough to do that at international level."
