Worcester tighthead prop Nick Schonert has agreed a new undisclosed contract with the Warriors to stay at Sixways long-term.
The front-row forward has steadily become one of Worcester's most important players since joining from the Cheetahs in 2014, and he will now be staying at the club after penning a new deal.
The length of the South Africa U20 international's new contract has not been disclosed by the club but head coach Carl Hogg, speaking on the official website, says he is delighted with the development.
"Nick is a great example of a young player who's developed and grown through the system, having utilised the infrastructure and resource that we have in place at Warriors," he said.
"His progress has been outstanding and to have a tighthead prop of his quality is a real asset to the side. We look forward to working with him further in the coming seasons to try and help him reach his full potential."
Schonert says he's at the best place to develop and is looking forward to his future at Sixways.
He added: "I've really enjoyed my first two years in Worcester having made some lifelong friends. We've had some very special moments, in particular our promotion back to the Premiership in 2015, and I look forward to enjoying more memorable moments over the years to come.
"There is everything a player needs here at Sixways to become the best they can be and hopefully I can help take this great club to where it belongs at the top of the game."
