After searching the nation for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, Amanda Holden is learning a new talent herself – she is revealed as the Robinsons mystery celebrity who will be challenging this years Wimbledon queue to a game of tennis.
Amanda has undergone intensive training sessions with one of Britain’s best loved players, Tim Henman and will be showing off her new talent on the Robinsons court*, on the first morning of the championships – Monday 23rd June. Tim Henman comments “I have been testing my coaching skills training Amanda Holden. She’s actually made my life easy because she’s got great hand eye co-ordination and good athletic ability so it’s all been pretty straightforward!”
Amanda has been disguising her identity whilst practising with Tim. She says “It’s been amazing having tennis lessons with Tim Henman, even if I have had to keep it a secret by wearing a disguise! Hopefully my disguise hasn’t hindered my training too much and I’ll be able to challenge the queuing public to a good game!”
She continues “I am very excited to play the queue on the Robinsons court. It’s a real honour to be associated with Wimbledon because I’ve watched the championships with my family since I was a child. “
