Andy Murray had to fight back from 2-0 down before play was halted in his fourth round match with Viktor Troicki.

It was uncertain whether Murray would take to the court at all after twisting his ankle in his previous match against Michael Berrer.

And Murray looked nervous and uncertain as to what the ankle could withstand in the early exchanges of the match and it wasn't long before Troicki was 5-0 up in that opening set.

But Murray settled and reeled off four consecutive games to keep his hopes of taking the opener alive.

But Troicki held his nerve to serve out the set - taking it 6-4.

Into the second and it looked like there were no worries about Murray's movement as Troicki ran the world number four around the court in some punishing rallies.

Murray broke early in the second and had soon raced to a 4-2 lead and it looked like he was on course to level the match.

But then a series of poor games followed as Murray began to get frustrated with his play. His negative body language just spurred Troicki on as he took four straight games to unexpectedly take the second set.

Murray now had a mountain to climb if he wanted to book his place in the quarter final and falling behind from an early break and Murray's French Open looked over.

But Murray broke back immediately before the trainer was called to take off the ankle strapping.

Murray broke for a second time and that was enough to seal the third set and keep his hopes alive.

The Scot was now in the groove and he motored through the fourth set - taking it 6-2 before time was called on the match because of poor light.

The pair have just returned to court for a one set shoot out.

The winner will play Juan Ignacio Chela
