Great Britain To Face Tunisia In Davis Cup

Great Britain's Davis Cup team will play Tunisia in their opening tie of the 2011 competition in the Europe/Africa Zone Group II.
It will be a home tie for Team GB as they aim to build on their win over Turkey, in what was a must win tie for GB to prevent relegation for Europe/Africa Zone Group III, earlier this summer.
Jamie Baker, James Ward, Ken Stupski and Colin Fleming came together to see off Turkey as Andy Murray chose to miss the tie.
It is uncertain whether Murray will play in the opening Davis Cup weekend but it's an encounter that Great Britain would expect to win with Tunisia having just one play inside the world's top 1000.
Davis Cup captain Leon Smith admits that he is already preparing for the tie and is looking forward to the series of matches at home.
Smith told the LTA: "The preparations for March start today. We want to build on the progress we made against Turkey in July, so we won’t take anything for granted, and we won’t leave anything to chance.
"We always get such fantastic support from our fans, so it’s great to get a home tie."
Great Britain will be looking to gain promotion back up to Europe/Africa Group I and they would face wither Ireland or Luxembourg should they see off Tunisia in the opening round.
This year's Davis Cup final takes place in December and will see France take on Serbia. France saw off Argentina in a 5-0 whitewash at the weekend while Serbia came through 3-2 against last year's runners up Czech Republic.
