Lleyton Hewitt Believes Aussies Face Tough Davis Cup Task

Lleyton Hewitt believes that Australia face a tough test against Switzerland in their Davis Cup clash this weekend with Roger Federer in the squad.

Despite his semi final loss to Novak Djokovic at the weekend, where he squandered two match points, the sixteen time Grand Slam champion is back in action as he lines up for a World Group play off.

Both Switzerland and Australia are battling for a spot in the top group in Davis Cup and Federer along with Stanislas Wawrinka with take on Hewitt and Bernard Tomic.

And Hewitt, who has been struggling with injury again this year, says that it is going to be a tough tie.

Speaking to Reuters Hewitt said: "Roger is the main guy in the tie and he's the guy with the most form and the best form coming in.

"He's not only a great singles player, he's a great doubles player as well, so I think he gives their team a lot more confidence.

"I think Stan [Wawrinka] sort of lifts a bit when Roger's around as well, so it's not going to be easy for all our guys."

The Swiss side have arrive in Sydney for the tie and have only a couple of days to prepare before play gets underway on Friday.
