Roger Federer's 2009 title haul continues as he won the Cincinnati Master title yesterday.
It was the third time that he had collected the title as he enjoyed a straight sets win over Novak Djokovic.
On the build up to the U.S. Open, where Federer is the defending champion, the world number one looks to be in great form as he made light work of the number fourth seed.
In the first set Djokovic failed to show any of the form that had seen him defeat Rafael Nadal in the semi final as Federer stormed to a 6-1 lead to wrap up the opening set.
Federer looked to be continuing his impressive form that saw him take a part the new world number two Andy Murray in the semi final but Djokovic battled back.
Into the second set it looked like Federer's focus dropped slightly as he found himself a break down.
But he battled back to win 6-1 7-5 to give Djokovic his fourth Masters final defeat so far this season.
Speaking to the BBC after the match Federer said: "Overall, it's been a great week for me," he said. "I got a lot of matches in before the US Open, so I'm satisfied.
"I started quite slow but then the quarter-finals was a little bit better, and then the semi-final was a great match."
The U.S. Open gets underway on 31st August and Federer is the hot favourite to retain his title.
