Rafael Nadal has revealed that he would love to win twice at Wimbledon this season.

The Spaniard will be on the hunt for a third title at SW19 this summer and he will be back in London just a few weeks later to defend his Olympic title.

And while had admits that it will be a tough task to win both titles he believes that that feat can be achieved and he would love to be the one to do it.

Either would be difficult, both even more - but the winner at Wimbledon will be the favourite for the Olympics. It can happen.

Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald the Spaniard said: ''Yes, two Wimbledons for me. It's the best tennis club in the world so to have the chance to enjoy it as usual and then at the Olympics will be something completely different, amazing.

“Confidence is the most important thing in this sport and the confidence from winning Wimbledon would make it easier to win the Olympics.

“Either would be difficult, both even more - but the winner at Wimbledon will be the favourite for the Olympics. It can happen.''

Nadal won his first Olympic title four years ago in Beijing but this time around it will be on grass, a more favourable surface for the Spaniard.

But before he can start thinking about the summer he will be in action this week as the Australian Open gets underway - a tournament he won back in 2009.

For the last two years Nadal has crashed out in Melbourne at the quarter final stage and he begins his campaign against Kuznetsov.

However the Spaniard’s form is not known as he admits to have struggled with a shoulder injury during the off season.

But Nadal has revealed that he would like to regain the world number one spot from Novak Djokovic this year and he could claim a seventh French Open title later this year.
