Grace asks :

What are the best styling products for naturally curly hair? Mine is really dry, is it because I use mousse?

Female First replies

Curly hair can often be a little more dry than straight locks because they can need a little more products to help style it and it's harder to notice split ends than can creep upon the hair.

But a number of hair brands have ranges targeted for those with curly locks like yourself, it's best to use these as they'll care for your hair properly and will help to style it perfectly too.

If your hair is dry it's best to introduce a conditioning and moisturising mask into your routine, try it once a week (most people, like myself, like Sundays for a good old pamper session) and you'll start to see a difference in the moisture in your hair.

When using a number of different products in your hair it's advisable to detox the hair once a week to to ensure there is no product build up. Bumble and Bumble's Sunday shampoo is perfect for this, but these can sometimes strip the hair so make sure to apply a moisture mask to the hair afterwards.

For curling products, Paul Mitchell have launched a range for curly hair. Covering everything you'll need for super gorgeous locks.
