Butlins For All The Family

If you want a family holiday you cant go wrong with Butlins.

Forget any pre-concieved idea's you may have there is something for everyone, whether your old or young, you will have a really good time.

Visitors can select from a choice of mid week breaks or a long week end through to two weeks or longer, but which ever you decide on you are sure to have fun time.

I went with my family and the immediate attraction for the kids was the indoor swimming pool, in fact getting them out was the biggest problem.

Perfectly set up for families was you go in to changing rooms as a family so you can be with your children all the time. My children couldn't understand that there was so much more to see and do the just wanted to stay at the pool.

The new Bob the Builder adventure area had not been open long when we went and for the younger children it was was so exiting watching the life size Wendy, Spud and Bob they had the time of there lives shouting and joining in.

In the evening people queued to get in to Reds to see the Redcoats live show, the resident groups and acts it was always a night to remember.

If that's not what you fancy there are plenty of pubs restaurants including the newly opened Yacht club were half board gold accommodation resident's eat, serving first class food, other visitors can pay per meal, with waitering staff on hand to provide drinks.

Every budget is catered for at Butlins, with the Skyline Pavilion full of shops, fast food eateries for the self catering visitors.

For those who like to go out and about Butlins at Skegness is right on the beach, and not far from the town centre, and Skegness fun fair giving easy access to were every thing is, but not that you need to leave Butlins, as there is so much there to do.

Finally the Spa which has only been open this year is a haven if you want to relax chill out in the company of adults (no children are allowed). There is a large swimming pool, hydrospa, steam bath, fitness suite and you can choose from the many treatments available, so make sure you pamper yourself, there are many treatments to choose from. Pack the children off too one of the kids clubs 5 -8 year olds and the 9 - 12 years they will have a great time and its free, and you will enjoy the peace.

Don't think for one minute that its like the old fashioned 'Hi Di Hi' holiday camps your parents went to, Butlins is a combination of excellent accommodation, wonderful staff, first class food, and never ending entertainment.

The kids they had the time of there lives they didn't want to come home, and so much so we are back again next year.
