Cheryl Cole voted person we'd most like to cuddle inflight

Cheryl Cole has been under the radar since her axe from the US X Factor but she certainly hasn't lost her place in our hearts as she's been named the person that we would like to snuggle up to on an Atlantic flight.

The Girls Aloud singer came out on top in the survey after picking up more than a third of the votes.

British actresses Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet and Emma Watson all tied in second place.

Oscar-winner Colin Firth was voted favourite male companion followed by footballer David Beckham and actor Orlando Bloom.

Around 2,000 poeple were surveyed by Air New Zealand which asked people to nominate a celebrity to share a trans-Atlantic flight with.
