A new trend has emerged in travel, thanks to fans wanting to follow in the footsteps of Edward and Bella on their honeymoon.
Twilight Breaking Dawn is released on Friday and the mania of the franchise has seen flight, hotel and holiday searches to the film's honeymoon destination, Rio de Janeiro, increase 29 per cent on lastminute.com.
They have seen a boost in searches to Rio since the beginning of the month as well as an increase of 49 per cent for hotel searches to Stratford, as Twi-hards prepare to stay close by and grab a piece of the action at the premiere location, which is taking place this evening.
Eva Bojtos from lastminute.co.uk comments: "Rio de Janiero is a vibrant, exotic and idealistic destination. With the nickname 'Marvellous city' and with temperatures currently averaging 25 degress, it's no surprise that thousands of Twi-hards may be looking to re-create the Twilight honeymoon."
