Where would you choose to tie the knot....at home or away?

Plagued in the past by civil war, the now peaceful Sri Lanka pipped the US and Mauritius to come top of a wedding destination table compiled by long-haul holiday specialist Kuoni.

Kuoni managing director Sue Biggs said: "We have noticed a marked increase in our wedding bookings as weddings abroad become more popular as well as more destinations offering wedding ceremonies.'"
