The Year Of A Million Dreams - New Events include Summer music, Pirates and Princesses parties (featuring Jack Sparrow), and The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Pirates and Princesses Parties Pirates and princesses seeking royal and rowdy fun can enjoy a summertime encore of Disney's Pirate & Princess Party as it returns to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort for eight select nights Aug. 11-Sept. 3, 2007. Advance tickets go on sale May 1, 2007.

With an adventure map and treasure pouch in hand, families can embark on a hunt for colourful beads, chocolate doubloons and fun throughout the Magic Kingdom theme park. Adventurers can explore Magic Kingdom on a quest for pirate coves and princess courts brimming with specially themed entertainment, participate in character meet-and-greets and experience some of the most popular Magic Kingdom attractions open throughout the evening. All guests are invited to dress up as a wily pirate or favourite Disney princess. Princesses in waiting can go to The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - the magical salon that transforms little girls into Princesses.

Adding to the magic of the event will be two new nighttime entertainment spectaculars: "Disney's Enchanted Adventures Parade" features a new 39-foot-long pirate ship overflowing with swashbuckling adventurers, plus a treasure-filled float with Captain Jack Sparrow himself. The colourful cavalcade moves down Main Street, U.S.A. with a flag corps twirling the Jolly Roger, royal knights on horseback, court dancers and a regal processional of Disney princesses and princes.

"Magic, Music and Mayhem," a fireworks display orchestrated to an original musical score, will fill the sky above Magic Kingdom. Party highlights:

A pirate tutorial during which Captain Jack Sparrow offers young buccaneers sword-fighting tips. Royal guard recruitment training.

Character-themed dance parties and meet-and-greet opportunities.

Live entertainment and themed play areas.

Disney's Pirate & Princess Party debuted in January during "The Year of a Million Dreams."

"The Year of a Million Dreams" is a first-of-its-kind celebration with more than one million very special dreams to be granted to guests visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts. Guests will find Disney cast members delivering an unprecedented level of guest service. The celebration will also be highlighted by the debut of innovative Disney attractions and entertainment spectaculars at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts.

Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Dance to classic hits under the skies of the open-air America Gardens Theatre at Epcot. This summer concert series features a lineup of rockin' bands covering timeless tunes by various artists. Get the family together and groove to the songs you all know and love! There are three shows nightly at 5:45 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Entertainment is as follows, subject to change without notice, and is included with Epcot admission.
