Adam Croasdell thinks it's "lovely" when female fans come on to him.
The hunky 'EastEnders' actor - who played womanising Dr. Al Jenkins in the BBC One show - is regularly approached by women who tease him about his portrayal of the hunky GP and tempt him to check their heart rate.
He said: "I have actually had quite a lot of that, 'Doctor, will you feel my heart'. It's very funny, and actually it makes me laugh. It's a lovely thing."
While Adam doesn't mind the attention, his friends have found it harder to come to terms with his heartthrob status.
My friends think it's hilarious. I don't take it very seriously, when I'm out in public and people come up to me. I'll always say hi and have my picture taken with them but my mates think it's hilarious.
He laughed: "My friends think it's hilarious. I don't take it very seriously, when I'm out in public and people come up to me. I'll always say hi and have my picture taken with them but my mates think it's hilarious."
The 29-year-old hunk has already filmed his final scenes on Albert Square, which will be aired later this month.
Adam admitted he will miss meeting fans of the soap more than anything, because he enjoys making them go all "dreamy".
He explained: "I had a marvellous time. Everybody was great. Wonderful people. It was great actually, not that I'm a fame hog, but it was great to meet people on the street.
"When you meet them, it seems to give them a little bit of a twinkle. And to me, that's great. It is a nice break from a bit of a boring day. I love it when people are happy or a little bit dreamy, so that's great."
Since he finished fliming, Adam has been heavily involved with charity World Vision and recently travelled to Malawi to visit a child he has been sponsoring for the past seven years, called Jacob.
