Alesha Dixon has been added to the 'Strictly Come Dancing' judging panel.
The former pop star - who also won the BBC ballroom dancing show in 2007 - will replace Arlene Phillips, who was axed from the show last month.
Alesha, 30, said: "I'm honoured and excited to be joining the judging panel. I've always felt like part of the 'Strictly' family and really believe in the show."
Jay Hunt, controller of BBC One, had much praise for Alesha, saying: "As a former 'Strictly' champion, Alesha knows exactly what it takes to win. Her eye for great performance, her charisma and charm make her a great addition to the judging panel."
Also added to the panel - which features Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Craig Revel Horwood - will be Darcey Bussell, a former prima ballerina of The Royal Ballet - who will step in to help judges during the final weeks of the show.
I'm honoured and excited to be joining the judging panel. I've always felt like part of the 'Strictly' family and really believe in the show.
Darcey said: "It is a fantastic show and I'm looking forward to getting to know the dancers and being part of the excitement."
Alesha's inclusion on the panel is thought to be part of a revamp of the show by BBC bosses, who want it to appeal to a younger audience and compete with rival ITV show 'X Factor'.
Other changes expected to be made to 'Strictly Come Dancing' include several new professional dancers from the American version of the show and big name celebrity contestants.
The show will return to screens for a seventh series this autumn.
