Alesha Dixon has hinted she will quit 'Strictly Come Dancing' after just one series.
The 'Lipstick' singer - who joined the judging panel of the show in place of Arlene Philips earlier this year - has admitted music will always be her priority and she is currently weighing up her options for next year.
Following Alesha's appointment on the judging panel, the BBC were hit by allegations of ageism
Asked if she will continue on 'Strictly' next year, she said: "I'd like to, but there's talk of me going to America, so I'll take each day as it comes."
Following Alesha's appointment on the judging panel, the BBC were hit by allegations of "ageism" over the axing of choreographer Arlene in favour of a younger, inexperienced star.
Show bosses are now desperate to hold on to Alesha in a bid to avoid any further embarrassment.
One programme told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We're very keen to keep Alesha, especially given the fuss it caused.
"But she is super ambitious and she won't be committing to anything until next year, once she sees what else is on offer. Bosses will be on tenterhooks."
A BBC spokesman added that "nothing is confirmed" regarding next year's panel.
