Anne Hathaway is eyeing an appearance in 'Come Dine With Me' after admitting she is a huge fan of the cooking-based reality show.

Anne Hathaway is eyeing an appearance in 'Come Dine With Me'.

The 'One Day' actress - who is currently trying out a vegan diet - admitted she is a huge fan of the cooking show, and would love to rustle up a vegan meal for her fellow contestants if she was to appear on the series.

She told Closer magazine: "What's that show where everyone cooks for everyone else. 'Come Dine With Me'. I love that - they're all so catty! I'm trying to transition into being vegan, so I'd cook vegan dishes."

This isn't the first time Anne has confessed to a love of British TV.

The 28-year-old beauty recently revealed she watched ITV1 soap 'Emmerdale' to gain inspiration for her 'One Day' character Emma Morley's accent.

Anne told BANG Showbiz: "I googled a lot and tracked people down and talked about it. I guess the largest bit of outside research I did was I just watched 'Emmerdale' a lot. I found that really helpful!

"'Emmerdale's great. We don't have programmes like that in America so it was actually quite exotic for me."
