Bob Hoskins was forced to do his own stunts after the expert brought in to his new TV drama was too tall.
The 5ft 5in actor admits he didn't enjoy having to step in for the more physical scenes of his new BBC show 'The Street'.
He explained: "I wound up doing my own stunts because, when the stuntman turned up, he was 6ft 6in.

The 66-year-old actor - who plays a pub landlord who gets involved in a brawl with a local gangster in the programme - particularly enjoyed filming the drama because he got to work with Frances Barber, who plays his wife.
He added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Frances and I have wanted to work together for years, and now we finally had the opportunity."
'The Street' is scheduled for broadcast on July 13.
