Former 'X Factor' finalist Cher Lloyd has slammed Kitty Brucknell for being too attention-seeking in this year's competition.

Cher Lloyd has slammed X Factor's Kitty Brucknell for being too attention-seeking.

The 'Swagger Jagger' hitmaker - who finished fourth in last year's show - thinks the controversial hopeful's approach to the competition is "wrong", as she is just putting on her eccentric act to get attention from viewers.

Cher said: "I'm very honest. If I don't like an act then I'll say. The one that sticks out for me is Kitty - I have a big thing about her. I dislike the way she acts - and she acts that way to get the attention.

"I think it's just part of her personality. I know we can't all get on with everyone, but I think her approach to things is wrong."

The 18-year-old singer-and-rapper - who was involved in a spat with 'X Factor' judge Louis Walsh during last year's show after he criticised her "bratty" behaviour during the competition - also lashed out at the Irish panellist.

She added in an interview with We Love Pop magazine: "You've still got Louis, urgh! He's bored. Let him have his little play around. Louis, I love yer.do I 'eck!

"What he doesn't realise is we're going to bump into each other at some party or whatever. That's is, if he's not at home watching 'Coronation Street'. Poor lad!"
