Ice Judge Chris Fountain?

Chris Fountain wants to be a 'Dancing On Ice' judge.

The former 'Hollyoaks' actor - who came second on the celebrity skating contest two years ago - thinks he could do a better job than former Spice Girls star Emma Bunton who joined the 'Ice Panel' at the start of the current series.

He said: "I'm not a massive fan of Emma Bunton. She's a great personality, but she says all this stuff about skating and she doesn't know what she's talking about.

"I'd love to be a judge, and I'd like to think I know a bit more about skating than Emma does!"

Chris - who will be competing in the 'Dancing On Ice' live tour from next month - recently admitted he worried about being unemployed when he left 'Hollyoaks'.

The actor - who played bad boy Justin Burton on the Channel 4 show for six years - was petrified when he left the programme last May because he feared being a soap actor would hinder his chances of getting other work.

Speaking about his latest show 'Five Days' - which aired recently, but was filmed shortly after he left 'Hollyoaks' - Chris said: "There was always a risk I was going to be unemployed for ages, so it was nice to start filming straight away.

"It was good for me as an actor because sometimes people do not want to see you if you only worked on a soap."
