Claire Cooper moves in with co-star love

Claire Cooper has revealed she and her 'Hollyoaks' co-star Emmet J. Scanlan are ''in love'' and living together.

Claire Cooper and Emmett J. Scanlan have moved in together.

The 'Hollyoaks' stars - who play Jacqui McQueen and Brendan Brady in the Channel 4 soap - have confirmed they have been dating for six months and are "very much in love".

Claire said: "I've known Emmett for a few years, but it wasn't until we started working together that we realised there was a mutual attraction between us.

"We're very happy. He makes me laugh. I hope he's the one. But we're just enjoying each other's company right now and are very much in love.

"We support each other and have similar interests. I'm not the type to go shouting about our relationship but it's safe to say we're very happy. I'm smitten."

Claire revealed she and Emmett - who has a nine-year-old daughter Kayla from a previous relationship - have proved a hit with one another's families.

She added: "We went to Switzerland to visit some of Emmett's relatives, which went well. He's met my family too and has the seal of approval. Then we flew to Majorca for four days of sunshine."

While the pair are happy together, Claire, 29, is relieved not to share many 'Hollyoaks' scenes with her 32-year-old boyfriend.

She added to Reveal magazine: "We don't do many scenes together - if we did it might be a bit like, 'Did you do the washing up?' When we do have a scene together though, we get a bit giggly."
