Craig Colton has warned his 'X Factor' mentor Gary Barlow won't be seeing the back of him any time soon.
Craig Colton has warned Gary Barlow won't be seeing the back of him.
The 'X Factor' hopeful - who was voted off the ITV1 show last night (20.11.11) after landing in the bottom two alongside Amelia Lily - is thrilled to be able to call his mentor "a friend" now his experience has come to an end, and he will be seeking advice on his music career in the future.
However, he admitted Gary's song choice of James Bond track 'Licence To Kill' was the reason behind his departure.
Craig exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Gary is an absolute gentleman and he's given me so much over these last few months. The best thing is I can call him a friend now. It'll be hard for him to get rid of me.
"I personally didn't choose the song and I had reservations about it but it was a really good Bond song. The song does make the difference, though. At this stage in the competition it's all about the song choice."
Despite Amelia only having re-entered the competition last week as a replacement for axed Frankie Cocozza, Craig insists he bears no grudge against the pink-haired teen.
He said: "I've been there eight weeks now and I've had the chance to show what I can do. Amelia has only sung two songs on the show. I think everyone deserves a chance and I don't think she was ready to go yet.
"I think she's got a little bit more to give. I've got more to give as well, but I knew it was my time to go. Amelia is a very good friend of mine and I wish her all the luck in the world. How can you have hard feelings to someone in pink hair?"
