Danniella Westbrook was voted off 'Dancing On Ice' last night (21.03.10).

The 'EastEnders' actress missed out on a spot in next week's final's after she ended up in the skate-off with former 'Hollyoaks' actor Gary Lucy - who was saved after three of the five judges voted to keep him in.

After hearing the result, the 36-year-old star thanked her fellow competitors and her mentors - Olympic skaters Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean - and admitted she was thrilled to have lasted so long in the competition.

She said: "What can I say. It's been absolutely amazing. To come this far for me is amazing."

Danniella and her dance partner Matthew Gonzalez received the lowest score from the judges alongside 'Hollyoaks' actor Kieron Richardson - who also received 23 out of 30 for his routine.

This week the celebrity skaters were required to perform the first 30 seconds of their performance alone, before being joined by their partners.

Judges Emma Bunton and Jason Gardiner chose to save Danniella, while Karen Barber, Nicky Slater and head judge Robin Cousins saved Gary - even though he slipped over on the ice at the end of his routine.

However, Cousins ruled the fall happened after the routine had finished, and so the judges did not take it into account.

Gary will now compete against Kieron and former 'Emmerdale' actress Hayley Tamaddon in the final on Sunday (28.03.10).
