Dannii Minogue has branded Louis Walsh an "attention seeker".

The singer slammed her fellow 'X Factor' judge after he labelled her an "ice queen" last week.

Louis had said Dannii was "no Kylie", referring to her famous sister Kylie Minogue, and questioned her credibility as a panellist on the reality talent show.

Louis Walsh is at it again. It seems the only way he can make the headlines is by talking about me!

Dannii responded in her Closer magazine column: "Louis Walsh is at it again. It seems the only way he can make the headlines is by talking about me!

"Lou Lou wants some attention, like the naughty little boy he is. Last week, he claimed that I ignored him and Sharon on last year's 'X Factor', and that I only talk to Simon.

"Er, no! I'm a good sport and up for a laugh - but he's a naughty monkey talking about me again!"

She added: "Louis adores my sparkliest hits, 'Jump To The Beat' and 'This Is It', so he's secretly on Team Minogue!"

Meanwhile, it has been revealed the Australian singer has been secretly dating a British rugby player.The 36-year-old met Kris Smith - a 30-year-old sportsman who played for Halifax and Leeds clubs - while holidaying in Ibiza.A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Kris is a big lad who's in great shape physically. But he's just been bowled over by Dannii's interest in him. He wants to make it work."
